Most clients come for the whole house. Some come for one room and stay for the rest. A few run a college or a restaurant and need rooms that survive strangers.
Whole-house design
Concept, drawings, specification, tendering to our trades, and site visits every week until it is done. We manage the builder so you do not have to, and we have a written process for the months you will be living in a building site. Twelve to twenty-four months from the first meeting.
From £28,000 in fees for a four-bedroom house, plus the works.Rooms and kitchens
One room done properly: a kitchen, a bathroom, a sitting room that has never worked. The same drawings and the same trades, in a shorter arc of ten to sixteen weeks.
From £4,500 in fees.Hospitality and colleges
Guest rooms, common rooms and dining rooms for the colleges and the small restaurants of the city, designed to be handsome and to take a term of use without complaint.

A walk, a drawing, a sample board, a builder
We start with an afternoon in the house, then a measured survey. Three weeks later you get a set of drawings and one sample board, not six. Once you have said yes, we tender to two or three builders we already trust, and we are on site every week from the first day to the last.
